What it does
- Reads QR codes and barcodes on your device. Camera images are never saved or sent anywhere.
- Follows the redirects of a scanned web link, so you see the real destination before you open it.
- Checks the link with built-in lists of known phishing and malware sites (on your device) and Quad9 encrypted DNS and, for Pro users, with Google Web Risk through a server we operate that does not store the address.
- For Wi-Fi codes, never shows the network password on screen and copies only the network name.
- With Pro: create your own QR codes and barcodes with your logo and colors, generated on your device.
- Keeps your scan history on your device. You can delete entries or the whole history at any time.
QR codes with your logo
With SafeScan QR Pro you can create QR codes and barcodes with your own logo and colors. Like everything else in the app, they are made on your device. For a plain QR code without a logo, use our free QR code generator on this website.
Know the limits
A verified result means the link reached a valid web page and did not match known threat lists at the time of the scan. It is not a guarantee that the destination is safe.
